PORTRAIT (custom made)

4-Eenheid"

Op verzoek van opdrachtgeefster heb ik een minimalistische moderne voorstelling gemaakt van de 4 hechte gezinsleden. Gemaakt met zwarte inkt op 250grms. aquarelpapier Steinbach; ingelijst achter gematteerd glas met een brede passepartout en een mat zwarte aluminium lijst. Afm. 80x80 cm.

"4-Unit"

At the request of the commissioning lady, I made a minimalist modern representation of the 4 unified family members. Made with black ink at 250grms. watercolor paper Steinbach; framed behind matted glass with a wide passepartout and a matt black aluminum frame. (80x80 cm.)

"Leonique" is een opdracht van een oma voor haar dochter en kleinkind. Het is een kleurrijk kinderportret op 50x60cm. in olieverf met een losse schildertoets gemaakt.

"Leonique" is an assignment of a grandmother for her daughter and grandchild. It is a colorful children's portrait at 50x60cm. made in oil paint with a loose paintingtouch.

"Familieportret" is een speciaal project, waarbij ik een oude foto (ca. 1910) heb omgezet naar een schilderij. De opdrachtgever wilde graag een vastlegging op doek van zijn voorouders. Hierbij was het een hele uitdaging om het verhaal erachter te kunnen verduidelijken, zoals gezichtsuitdrukkingen, kleding, schoenen etc., waarvan niet alles erg duidelijk te zien was op de foto. Erg leuke opdracht om te doen.

"Family portrait" is a special project, in which I converted an old photo (appr. 1910) into a painting. The client desired his ancestors of that time on canvas. It was quite a challenge to be able to clarify the story behind it, such as facial expressions, clothing, shoes etc., not everything of which could be seen very clearly in the photo. Very nice assignment to do.

"Devlin"

Opdracht conform verzoek fotorealistisch geschilderd in acrylverf op een canvas van 50x50cm. Het is een afbeelding van een kindje in een carnavalsoutfit (leeuwenpakje). Dit is altijd erg leuk om te maken, vanwege de hoge emotionele waarde.

"Devlin"

Assignment according to request photorealistic painted in acrylic paint on a canvas of 50x50cm. It is an image of a child in a carnival outfit (lion suit). This is always a lot of fun to make, because of its high emotional value.

"Nikky en Juul"

Dit is een modern dubbelportret voor de 50ste verjaardag van de moeder van de twee kinderen die op het schilderij staan afgebeeld. Op verzoek met oranjetinten in zwart-wit gemaakt, omdat de jongedame op de afbeelding die prachtige haarkleur heeft.

"Nikki and Juul"

This is a modern double portrait for the 50th birthday of the mother of the two children depicted in the painting. Made on request with orange tones in black and white, because the young lady in the image has that beautiful hair color.

"Samen spelen"

Op verzoek van de opdrachtgeefster heb ik haar 4 kleine hondjes vanaf foto's naar realistisch beeld geschilderd. Ze zijn zgn. samen aan het spelen in een Limburgs landschapje met de wind in de vacht. Afmeting 120x40 cm. op 3D-dik doek. De opdrachtgeefster wil haar lievelingen graag prominent in de woonkamer in natuurlijke tinten, passend bij de crèmekleurige woninginrichting.

"Playing together"

At the request of the commissioning lady, I painted her 4 small dogs from photos to realistic images. They are playing together in a Dutch landscape with the wind in their fur. Size 120x40 cm. on 3D-thick canvas. The commissioning lady would like her darlings to be prominent in the living room in natural tones, matching the cream-colored home furnishings.
